Nintendo Green House Game & Watch Multi Screen

2015. március 25. - kleinv

This game is one of my new buyings. I am starting the blog with this one, because this is my favourite recently. This multiscreen game was released in 1982 by Nintendo. Those times several multiscreen lcd games were released by the Japanese company (some of them will be shown in this blog). This is a very useful design. Both the screens and buttons are safe when it is closed. Maybe that is the reason that we can find some pieces in very good condition nowadays too, thirty years after the release.

The aim is to protect the green house plants from pests. Our hero is running on a ladder between both levels of the green house with a sprayer in his hand. On the lower screen spiders from the corners are risking the plants, on the upper screen worms are on their way from the center to the sides to have a feast of leaves.

The two levels of the green house is placed on two different screens above each other. You can find the move button on the left, and spray button on the right. All other buttons are in the upper right corner. You can choose between GAME A and GAME B with them. This is a really fast game, but GAME B even needs more concentration and dexterity.

On the lower level we can move only one step to the sides to spay the spiders who are coming from the upper corners. These little creatures are really resistant. We can finish them only if we leave them to come the closest and spray them only then. If they are further we can only pass them back one step. Of course we receive points also for that too, but we earn more if we let them closer (three points for killing them, one point to step them back). We can be tricky and spray the places in advance, the gas does not slip by immediately.

There is a cat and a bee on the lower screen, too. They are having their part when alarm is set. In this case the kitty is sleeping quietly on a shelf. When time has come, the bee pricks the cat, who jumps a big.

On the top of the ladder we can step two in each sides to spray the worms. The closer we let the insects to the leaves the more score we receive (3-2-1).

We can see the misses on the upper screen pictured by droopy plants.

I read on internet that max score is 999. I have reached only 998, so I can not confirm it.

The game works with two AG13/LR44 battery. I can not tell you how long they are lasting yet.

You can find technical details and serial number on the back cover.

I have made all the photos in the post of my own device. You can find more details about this lcd game on the below link.
